UBC Welcomes Property Firm to Cirencester

UBC is delighted to welcome a Wiltshire-based property firm and chartered surveyor, SPG Property, to their new offices in Cirencester.

SPG Property, which has a head office in Corsham, Wiltshire, has set up a new regional workspace with UBC having won a number of prestigious management contracts in Cirencester including management of the town’s main shopping centre, Bishops Walk Shopping Arcade.

From SPG’s new Cirencester the SPG team offers a variety of services including property management, asset management, agency and letting services and commercial and residential valuations.

“Cirencester is a fantastic town and we are extremely excited to have set up an office in The Capital of the Cotswolds,” said Spencer Gower, managing director of SPG Property (pictured).

“Having been a consultant working in the town for the past 2 years I believe that Cirencester has shown great resilience during the pandemic and is in a strong position to grow economically when we eventually get back to some kind of normality in 2021.”

UBC is excited to accommodate the SPG team, who are actively working with local businesses to strengthen Cirencester’s retail offering and support the local community.

Stephen Davies from Padmanor Investments Ltd, owner of Bishops Walk Shopping Arcade, noted that SPG’s management and local development expertise will benefit the people of Cirencester.

“This year has seen many challenges for property owners and high street retailers with the Covid-19 pandemic. But with the help of SPG Property we are confident that 2021 will be a successful year for the town and it will continue to be a desirable place to visit and live.”

UBC Cirencester is located just outside the town centre along the main A429, offering quick and easy access into Cirencester as well as to SPG’s head office in Corsham.

Since the company is managing a number of local properties in addition to Bishops Walk, including Castle Street, Cricklade Street and Whitworth Road, ease of access is essential -- and their new regional office at UBC Cirencester provides a convenient location with easy access to onsite meeting rooms and plenty of car parking.

This has become increasingly important since the onset of the pandemic, with far fewer people willing to use public transport, and UBC has seen a rise in demand for regional, out-of-town offices in response to the need for spacious workspace in easily accessible locations.

Interestingly, one of SPG’s services includes 360 interactive virtual tours of properties using specialist 360 cameras, which UBC also started offering this year in order to help prospective clients explore a new office without the need to travel.

SPG is now making full use of their new Cirencester office location with the help of UBC’s friendly onsite management team, Jen and Michelle.
