UBCUK Partners with Enterprise Nation to Support Clients’ Business Growth

UK serviced office operator UBCUK has partnered with small business network Enterprise Nation to create new growth opportunities for business centre clients.

Founded in 2005 by business expert and author Emma Jones MBE, Enterprise Nation is a leading community for UK small businesses, offering opportunities for entrepreneurs to gain support, advice and connections.

With the help of Enterprise Nation, UBC - which operates flexible offices and coworking across 7 UK locations, including a newly relaunched business centre in Brentford - is able to utilise the network’s technology platform to provide exclusive client benefits.

Amongst them, the partnership includes a special half price membership for UBC clients, which provides access to a 70,000-strong community of start-up entrepreneurs, small business owners and enterprise experts from all over the UK.

Enterprise Nation, which partnered with the Business Centre Association (BCA) earlier this year, recently held an induction day for UBCUK at its head office location in Solihull to explain some of the key benefits for clients.

Enterprise Nation membership includes:

  • Weekly online masterclasses with entrepreneurs and business experts
  • Discounts on more than 100 inspirational events each year
  • Opportunity to pitch ideas to big brands across the UK
  • Online and downloadable resources to boost business growth
  • Exclusive profile opportunities for business owners
  • Savings on small business essentials including Moo printing and Microsoft Office.
  • Access to thousands of experts via the Enterprise Nation platform and free 30 minutes expert consultation calls
  • More exclusive opportunities announced weekly

Founder Emma Jones noted that the partnership reflects a shared vision between Enterprise Nation and UBC to “build an eco-system that supports a wide variety of industries, sectors and creative individuals, helping to drive them towards collaboration and success.”

She added: “Today’s coworking spaces often curate communities, building the right productive atmosphere to generate success. Coworking spaces and business centres are no longer simply a place to put your laptop and buy a nice coffee. Their benefit also lies in the community and the collaboration that might bring.”

UBC’s Brentford coworking space, in addition to its other shared spaces at Southampton, Fleet, Cirencester, Henley-in-Arden, Solihull and Warrington, offer opportunities for clients to connect in a shared workspace with on-site business support and access to professional meeting rooms.

For growing businesses seeking to scale-up into larger premises, UBC provides a variety of flexible managed workspaces at every centre, which can accommodate large teams of 15 or more.

Jane Erasmus, UBC’s Sales & Marketing Director, said: “In building an effective collaborative community in Brentford, we felt an important first step was to collaborate with Enterprise Nation, and to take insight from their data and experience which we can use to build and engage entrepreneurs who are often taking their first steps into building a business and for whom the decision to use our spaces will be an important one.”
